SLRP “REEL READS” — The Iron Giant

What: SLRP “Reel Reads” youth book club — discuss The Iron Giant (the book cited: The Iron Giant: A Story of Five Nights by Ted Hughes) and watch the film adaptation The Iron Giant (PG, 1999, 1h 25m).
Who: Ages 6–17 (siblings with a guardian are welcome). Newcomers always welcome.
When: July 7, 2026 — 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Where: Chickasha Public Library (Library meeting room).
Notes: Attendees will also pick up a copy of next month’s book club selection (The Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney). This program is part of the library’s Summer Library Reading Program (SLRP).
