DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Independence Day in Chickasha at the Festival of Freedom in Shannon Springs Park. The day features the pool (open 10:00 AM–6:00 PM)\, family games\, a costume contest\, free watermelon while supplies last (4:00–6:00 PM)\, food trucks and onsite vendors\, Cade’s Cones\, and train rides through the park. At 6:00 PM the Parade of Stars & Handlebars (bikes\, scooters\, golf carts\, motorcycles & ATVs) rolls to the park entrance; the parade closes with Tim’s train which will offer rides through the park. Live music (Southern Sailor Band)\, community activities\, and a fireworks display at dark round out the evening.
