Festival of Freedom — Shannon Springs Park (Chickasha)
Celebrate Independence Day in Chickasha at the Festival of Freedom in Shannon Springs Park. The day features the pool (open 10:00 AM–6:00 PM), family games, a costume contest, free watermelon while supplies last (4:00–6:00 PM), food trucks and onsite vendors, Cade’s Cones, and train rides through the park. At 6:00 PM the Parade of Stars & Handlebars (bikes, scooters, golf carts, motorcycles & ATVs) rolls to the park entrance; the parade closes with Tim’s train which will offer rides through the park. Live music (Southern Sailor Band), community activities, and a fireworks display at dark round out the evening. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and plan for parking and crowds.
